Women’s University Capital Campaign
The opportunities for women in Sub-Saharan Africa are severely restricted by their limited access to education and skills training. As a result, they are often subjected to gender- based violence, forced to marry and begin a family at a very early age, and are unable to escape the vicious cycle of poverty. ICF wants to start a wave of change-breaking stereotypes and empowering young women with the dreams and the skills to achieve their full potential and in turn, to favorably impact their families, their communities, and their nation.
Clean Water Access for All
The absence of clean water in impoverished regions contributes to severe health problems, hampers economic development, and creates obstacles to education. Installing a water well can transform the life of a village for many years. It not only saves lives but also frees up valuable time that villagers previously spent gathering and transporting water, allowing them to engage in more productive activities. Since 2021, the International Children’s Fund has successfully installed 100 water wells across Africa, India, and Pakistan, significantly advancing their mission to ensure access to clean water for everyone. With your fundraising help, ICF can continue to drill water wells in underserved communities, bringing clean water access to those who need it most.
Hunger Relief For Everyone
ICF supports extensive feeding programs through the shipment of food from the US and the purchase of local rice, beans, and meat products. Through this program, our missions deliver several million meals to desperate children and their families each year. This program is essential to help starve off starvation. Our missions are able to provide nutritious meals or deliver the supplies to rural families to do the same at a cost of approximately $0.33 per meal.
