Our Impact
At the International Children’s Fund, we are dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to desperately poor children and their families throughout the world. Our main areas of focus include providing housing, food, clean water, education, medical aid, and opportunities in underserved regions.
As a Christian organization, we work diligently to identify the most efficient, cost-effective means of securing and delivering humanitarian aid to those in greatest need. We are proud to share that more than 99.7% of donations are directly used for program services

Orphanages: A Home for All
Many impoverished countries continue to face challenges from past conflicts and ongoing economic difficulties, leaving many children orphaned and in dire need of care. In Africa alone, there are estimated to be around 52 million orphans. At the International Children’s Fund, we are dedicated to helping these children survive.
Our orphanage initiatives provide more than just shelter. We aim to deliver. A safe environment where children can heal, grow, and flourish – despite their situations. With the support of generous donors, our orphanages supply nutritious meals, clothing, medical care, and an education that gives these children a future filled with opportunity.
Food: Hope for the Hungry
Every year, millions of children go to bed hungry. Our food distribution programs aim to combat this critical issue head-on. Our initiatives support community kitchens, school feeding programs, and emergency food relief efforts that reach tens of thousands annually.
Nearly half of childhood deaths in Africa are due to starvation. During 2025, this food crisis was exacerbated by high inflation, drought, and tremendous supply chain issues. ICF responded to this crisis by supplying nearly 1.6 million nutritious meals while also investing heavily into sustainable food programs including animal husbandry, agriculture, and fish farms.

Education: Empowering Through Knowledge
Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our educational programs include building schools, providing scholarships, and supplying educational materials to underprivileged areas. We focus on both primary and secondary education, ensuring that children have the knowledge and skills needed to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
Our current capital campaign, Victory University for Women, aims to equip young women in Liberia with education that will offer more opportunities in their futures. ICF wants to start a wave of change—breaking stereotypes and empowering young women with the dreams and the skills to achieve their full potential and in turn, to favorably impact their families, their communities, and their nation. Currently, we are 90% of the way to our fundraising goal of $850,000 and construction of the university is nearly complete.
Medical Aid: Healing and Hope
At ICF, we are actively addressing the healthcare crisis in rural Africa by providing vital pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and services to children and their families. Our large medical clinic in Liberia serves thousands of patients annually, offering a full spectrum of services at little or no cost. Recently, we completed a small clinic in Togo, which is already treating hundreds of patients, including those from our orphanage and local community. These facilities are lifelines for individuals who would otherwise have no access to medical care.
Our commitment extends beyond clinics. In 2025 alone, we provided over 4.4 million doses of essential medicines addressing urgent health needs from malaria to AIDS. Distributing tens of thousands of treated mosquito nets, crucial for preventing malaria, and corrective eyeglasses that empower children to attend school and engage in their communities. Additionally, our deworming programs aim to treat over 20,000 vulnerable children in Uganda, combating the debilitating effects of parasitic infections. We also focus on jigger eradication, helping families prevent the severe health consequences associated with untreated jigger infestations. Together, these initiatives are transforming lives and fostering healthier futures for countless individuals in rural Africa.

Water Wells
Water is essential for life. It directly impacts your health and overall quality of life. In many developed countries, clean water is taken for granted – as people are so used to it always being readily available for drinking, cooking, and bathing. This is not the reality for many countries, where a large percentage of the population are desperately poor and lack access to clean water sources.
In impoverished communities, villagers rely on surface water for their water source. This water is also used for bathing, washing, and supplying water for livestock. As a result, the water is often tainted and not suitable for drinking. In these countries, the lack of access to clean water leads to health issues, economic challenges, and educational barriers. A water well can service an entire village for years to come. It will not only save lives but will allow the villagers to use the time previously spent on the daily routine of finding and transporting water for more productive tasks. Just since 2021, the International Children’s Fund has drilled 125 water wells combined in Africa, India, and Pakistan in their efforts to provide clean water for all.
