Our Mission to Provide a Home for All
In a world where millions of children face unimaginable hardships, the International Children’s Fund (ICF) remains committed to offering hope, stability, and a brighter future to those most in need. Across Africa, India, and Pakistan, the AIDS epidemic, war, disease, and famine have left over 52 million children orphaned—many without family, shelter, or access to basic needs.
Our Dedication to Children Through Orphanages
For over 40 years, ICF has been dedicated to providing food, medical care, clean water, education, and shelter to these vulnerable children. Through our orphanages we support in Africa and India, thousands of children who might otherwise have been forgotten now have a place to learn, grow, and dream of a better future.
One of our longest-serving mission partners, Pastor Ghansah, has been caring for orphaned children in Ghana for over 30 years. Under his leadership, two orphanages and a school in Kumasi provide children with:
-Nutritious meals to help them grow strong
-Clean water for drinking and sanitation
-Safe housing to give them stability
-Medical care for their health and well-being
-Education to break the cycle of poverty
A True Testament to Our Mission
Among the thousands of children whose lives have been changed by Pastor Ghansah’s mission are Mary Quansah and Fredrick Aboagye De Costa. Both arrived at his orphanage as young children, having lost their parents with no relatives to care for them. Because of the care, love, and opportunities they received, both went on to finish their education and will soon graduate from Methodist University as teachers. Now, they will give back by educating future generations—a full-circle transformation made possible by supporters like you.
